People contact Atlanta Film and TV consistently, sometimes to be featured on our blog. What’s frustrating is when people want to connect with us, but when we research them online, there isn’t much of an online presence.

In other words, as an actor or industry professional having a social media presence is essential. Be sure that you’re not only active but consistently posting and showcasing your professionalism.
3 Tips To Building an Online Presence
Create a website - and be sure to include a headshot or two, so that people can put a name with a face, AND include any links (or demo reels) to work you have done. Creating a website not only enhances your online presence but is the first way to prove if you’re credible or not.

Blog - Along with creating a stunning website on one of the sites listed above, be sure to include a page (on your website) where you blog. You can blog about an experience you may have had in the film industry, to a review of a film or an awards show. This not only makes you appear credible but also aware of what is going on in the film and television industry.
Create YouTube Videos - According to an article titled Why YouTube is an Actor’s Best Friend, it states that, You can increase your chances of being discovered by having a YouTube channel because this platform gives you high levels of exposure to the entire world, all at once. Additionally, all sorts of people use YouTube, giving you not just a huge audience, but a diverse one.
