SCADFILM Presents The Art of the Fight Scene

“SCADFILM Weekend Presents The Art of the Fight Scene including a screenwriting workshop, fight choreography demo, and screening of ‘CREED.’ Whether your action scene involves complex swordplay, or strategically choreographed martial arts, fight movement contributes to your story and has a major impact on the success of your project. Begin this action-packed weekend with the Oscar-winning film ‘Rocky’ on Friday night. On Saturday, join SCAD for a screenwriting workshop on polishing the perfect physical action scene. Then learn how to take the scene from page to screen with fight choreography demonstration featuring performers from ‘Black Panther,’ ‘Jurassic Park,’ and ‘The Avengers.’ Watch how it all comes together, with a screening of ‘CREED.’”

“To address the needs of our bourgeoning, creative community, Georgia State University’s School of Law and Creative Media Industries Institute are hosting a one-day seminar on Saturday, November 16.
