The Film Mechanics presents Feature Film Screenplay Workshop Virtual Reads
The Film Mechanic's Screenwriting Class is a fundamental four-week course designed to teach screenwriters the screenplay development process before writing. This class will cover techniques for:
Overcoming writer's block
Writing an engaging story
Attracting investors, producers, directors, and actors
This is a progressive learning course.

Kids Video Connection Children’s Film Festival Promoting Positive, Educational, & Entertaining Films for Children
KVC Children’s Film Festival is two weeks of fun, educational, and exciting activities, including film screenings, media literacy, and video production workshops for children, teens, and independent writers/producers interested in creating children’s programs. We focus and showcase films produced by youth from around the world. Also, we promote positive films produced by independent producers.

This month, hear from Jim Farmer and Craig Hardesty from Out on Film as they discuss the film festival submissions process with Mickie Garcia, Programming Coordinator for the Atlanta Film Society.

Greenlight Acting Studios presents Kids’ Imagination Station Session 1 Storytelling
3-Day Workshop:
Friday, June 18th- 5:30 - 8:30 | Saturday & Sunday, June 19 - 20 th 1:30 - 4:30
The Workshop will focus on:
Teaching the structure of a narrative (how to give a story a beginning, middle, and end)
Stories that create a conflict, and resolution
Passing the torch and sharing space (how to be a good collaborative creator)
Use of resources (sound, rhythm, repetition, etc.)
Working with an ensemble
Games to increase confidence and creativity
We will finish on Sunday, with a showcase for families to see what wonderful stories your kids have created!
