“LOCALS ONLY is at the Drive-In on July 15th for a summer screening of local short films that are so bad, they're good! LOCALS ONLY is a recurring screening of thematically tied short films from Georgia’s independent filmmakers with each event having a distinct theme and focus. Featured short films come entirely from submissions. This edition welcomes special guest juror, Greg Sestero from THE ROOM!”

Catapult Acting presents Voiceover Workshop | Youth


Have you ever wondered how to break into Voice Over Acting?


Atlanta-based Voice Over actor and producer Eileen Kimble teaches the fundamentals of V/O

Acting. In this workshop, Eileen will focus on V/O commercials and narrations. Actors will learn proper vocal techniques, giving them the tools to bring the text to life!


THIS WORKSHOP WILL COVER:


- “Voicing” scripts and copy from multiple different sources


- Understanding that if you know what you’re talking about, you’ll sound like it!


- The importance of intonation and expression


- How to interpret the script to give delivery for the ear.

The Atlanta Film Society presents Screenwriting 101: Diverse Voices and Stories


“This screenwriting course is created for underrepresented and minority writers to develop stories that are often untold. While the course will also focus on the basic tenets of screenwriting including structure, tone, and character, its main focus will be to help writers discover their inner voice and write stories that break convention.”
