Atlanta Film Society presents Eat, Drink & B-Indie (Online Edition!): Diverse Voices and Stories
Join us for a virtual Eat, Drink & B-Indie on Instagram Live (@atlfilmsociety)! This month, hear from Asad Farooqui, director, screenwriter, producer, and actor (and ATLFF alum!). He has directed multiple short films and written various scripts about Pakistani and Muslim characters stuck in an America that refuses to accept them. Asad will be discussing how to engage people from underrepresented and minority communities well before they reach adulthood along with how these communities can work with organizations, such as ATLFS, to create programs catering to younger students in high school and early college. This conversation will be moderated by ATLFS's Brian Grady, Screenplay Programmer.
